Brenda Benveniste was introduced to drawing and painting at a very young age. She studied art consistently throughout school, college and in private study. She is a painter by disposition, but her greatest passion is the education of fine art development in children. Her students have received numerous awards, publications, and statewide recognitions.

Destination Science combines innovative science projects, creativity challenges, outdoor games, character development and unsurpassed customer service. Our goal is for every camper to leave with inner science-confidence & outer self-confidence. All camps are taught by bright, top-notch elementary educators & college students. Campers are grouped in age appropriate teams, 14 campers per team.

Fire Fighter Camp
The Newport Beach Fire Department will be holding our very popular Junior Firefighter Camp for children, ages 9-13. The camp will be taught by our very own Newport Beach Firefighters and will introduce the participants to the firefighting profession.

MOVIES BY KIDS is bringing Hollywood to you! Whether your interests lie in acting, writing, or directing, students will get a chance to do it all. Instructors lead each "production crew" through the movie making process while allowing your child to collaborate and share ideas. Every student receives a DVD copy of all class movies!
Ocean Adventure Programs Jeff Nelsen has taught science for over 40 years to preschool through community college students. He has taught in both private and public schools on the East Coast, the West Coast, and Micronesia. His degrees are In the sciences with postgraduate work in Oceanography and Marine Biology at Oregon State and UCI. He created Ocean Adventure Programs in 1977 while directing the Onshore Marine Lab. for the Orange County Department of Education. Presently he continues to teach Ocean Adventure Programs at Harbor Day School.
